Tunisia is a top ten producer of olive oil in the world. Its two most common cultivars / varieties are:

A third cultivar, Koroneiki, which is indigenous to Greece, is becoming more popular in Tunisia because of the quantity of trees that can be planted per hectare, and tree’s time from when planted to market. (This Tunisian olive orchard planted 400 Koroneiki trees)
